Cookie policy

What a cookie is

A cookie is a short text file that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. It is not a program, it doesn't run, and it cannot access your files – it only remembers an identifier or a setting that the site reads back on your next visit. Similar technologies are local storage (localStorage) and pixels – this policy applies to them as well.

The Site uses cookies in two ways: a few are essential for it to work, the rest serve statistics and the settlement of affiliate links. For the latter we ask for your consent on the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

What cookies we use

Necessary cookies

The Site does not work without these – we don't ask for consent for them, because they are based on legitimate interest.

  • cookie_consent – your choice made on the cookie banner. Lifetime: 12 months.
  • lang – the selected language version. Lifetime: 12 months.
  • session – the technical identifier of the visit. Lifetime: until the browser is closed.

Analytics cookies

They measure which pages visitors view, where they come from and how much time they spend – this tells us what is worth improving. The IP address is anonymised, the data is not tied to a person, and after turning the measurement off the data already collected remains, but no new data arrives. Only with consent.

  • _ga – distinguishing visitors. Lifetime: 14 months.
  • _ga_* – session state. Lifetime: 14 months.

Affiliate tracking cookies

If you click a link pointing to a casino, the affiliate programme records an identifier so the commission can be settled. It records the fact of the click, not your name or email address. Only with consent.

  • aff_click – the anonymous identifier of the click. Lifetime: 30–60 days, varying by partner.

What we do not use

We use no advertising cookies, run no remarketing and build no profiles. We don't use embedded social media buttons either – they would set their own cookies without our knowledge.

Third-party cookies

The demo mode of the slot machines loads from the developer's server (iframe). In that case the developer – for example Pragmatic Play or Spribe – may set its own technical cookie needed for the demo to work. Their own policy applies to these; the iframe only loads when you start the demo.

How to manage them

You can decide about cookies in three places:

  1. On the cookie banner – "Accept" or "Necessary only" on your first visit. The choice can be changed at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
  2. In the browser – every browser lets you delete, block or control cookies per site. The path: Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies; Firefox: Settings → Privacy; Safari: Settings → Privacy; Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
  3. Opting out of analytics – with the Google Analytics browser add-on, across all sites at once.

If you block all cookies, the Site remains readable, but the language choice and the cookie banner decision will be asked again on every visit.

How long we store them

The lifetimes given above are maximums – a cookie deletes itself when it expires, and it can be deleted manually from the browser at any time. After consent is withdrawn, we do not set the analytics and affiliate tracking cookies again on the next load; cookies already set have to be deleted from your browser by you, because we have no access to them – it takes a minute in the browser settings.
