Cash of Gods

Cash of Gods overview – an Ela Games hit

The Cash of Gods game was released in November 2023 from the workshop of Ela Games, founded in 2021, and became one of the young studio's most successful titles. This slot, taking you to ancient Greece, combines the classic mythological theme with a modern Hold and Win mechanic.

The Cash of Gods slot runs on a 5×4 grid with 1,024 ways to win – instead of paylines, it's enough for matching symbols to land on adjacent reels from left to right. The real excitement comes from the gods' bonus round, where the multipliers of Zeus, Hera, Ares and Athena raise the coin values up to 5,000x your bet.

Cash of Gods is available at online casinos both for real money and in free demo mode.

Theme and design

The game invites you into the golden halls of Olympus: marble columns, flickering torches and a stormy sky form the backdrop, while the gods' elaborate portraits – Zeus, Hera, Ares and Athena – spin on the reels alongside the antique letter symbols. The animations are smooth, the gods' interventions are accompanied by lightning and light effects, and the orchestral score is suitably epic. Many players say the visuals match the level of the big studios – no wonder Ela Games drew attention to itself with this title.

Gameplay and mechanics

Cash of Gods runs on 5 reels and 4 rows with 1,024 ways to win: at least three matching symbols are needed on adjacent reels, starting from the first reel. In the base game, 2–4 wilds can land randomly on the grid, which can turn any spin into a winner. Three bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger the Hold and Win-style gods' bonus: over a series of respins, silver coins (1x–9x) and gold coins (10x–50x) accumulate, while the gods' special multiplier effects raise the values. A bonus buy is also available.

RTP and volatility

Cash of Gods has an RTP of 95.3%, somewhat below the industry's 96% average – worth factoring in for longer-term planning. Some operators may use different settings, so always verify the exact figure on the game's info panel. Volatility is high: the 1,024 ways make for a fairly lively base game, but the truly big payouts are born in the less frequently arriving gods' bonus. The slot suits fans of spectacular, bonus-centred gameplay.

Jackpot – maximum win

Cash of Gods is not a progressive jackpot slot: the maximum win is 5,000x your bet in a single game round. Reaching the ceiling requires collecting many gold coins in the Hold and Win bonus while several gods' multiplier effects raise the values at once – at the end of the round, the sum of all coins is paid out multiplied by the triggering bet.

How to play the Cash of Gods slot

Cash of Gods's rules can be learned quickly, but the bonus round's coin logic is worth exploring first in the free Cash of Gods demo. The steps for real-money play:

1. Pick a reliable online casino from our toplist where the Cash of Gods casino game is available.
2. Register, verify your details and activate the welcome bonus.
3. Deposit funds using a payment method convenient for you.
4. Open the game and set your bet between €0.10 and €50.
5. Spin and watch for the bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5.
6. You can withdraw your winnings at any time in the casino's cashier menu.

Because of the high volatility, it's best to start with small bets and budget your funds for the bonus hunt.

Cash of Gods symbols and payouts table

The payout depends on the number of matching symbols landing on adjacent reels, with values expressed as multiples of your bet and given as a guide. Zeus is the most valuable symbol, while the antique letter symbols make up the lower tier.

The exact, version-dependent values can be found in the in-game paytable.

Special features of Cash of Gods

Cash of Gods's strength is that it refreshes the well-known Hold and Win recipe with the gods' active involvement: each of the four Olympians influences the fate of the coins in their own way, so no two bonus rounds are ever the same.

The gods' Hold and Win bonus

Three bonus symbols trigger a series of respins: every landing coin stays in place, and every new coin resets the counter. Silver coins carry values of 1x–9x, gold coins 10x–50x – at the end of the round all values are added together and paid out.

Divine multiplier effects

During the bonus, Zeus, Hera, Ares and Athena can intervene with unique effects: raising coins, turning silver into gold or multiplying the collected values. The biggest wins are born from several gods intervening at once.

Random wilds and Bonus Booster

In the base game, 2–4 wilds can appear randomly on any spin. The Bonus Booster meter gives an extra chance as you approach the bonus – after collecting ten points, an additional spin is awarded to hunt the bonus symbols.

Cash of Gods demo mode

The Cash of Gods demo at the top of this page can be tried for free, with no registration or download. The demo runs on a virtual balance; the RTP, the coin values and the gods' bonus work exactly as in the real-money version. It's worth playing through several bonus rounds in the demo to see how each god affects the coins – so you can follow the events with confidence when real money is on the line.

Cash of Gods on mobile devices

Cash of Gods is built with HTML5 technology, so it runs from the browser on iOS and Android devices without a separate Cash of Gods app. The 5×4 grid and the large, detailed symbols are clearly visible on small screens, and the interface is optimised for touch. The slot is also available in the mobile apps of casinos offering Ela Games titles, with the same account and balance as the desktop version.

How to increase your chances in Cash of Gods – tips for players

Cash of Gods works on a random number generator, so the gods' favour can't be forced – but your budget and your decisions are yours to control. Advice from experienced players:

• Learn the gods' bonus in the free Cash of Gods demo mode before playing with real money.
• Set a fixed budget and factor in the below-average 95.3% RTP.
• Choose a small bet so you get as many spins as possible for hunting the bonus symbols.
• Check the RTP on the info panel, as operators may run different versions.
• The bonus buy increases variance – use it only if your budget allows.
• Take advantage of casinos' welcome bonuses and free spins, but read the terms.

And most importantly: never trade your peace of mind for the gods' gold – always play responsibly.
