Crazy Time

Crazy Time overview – Evolution's flagship game show

The Crazy Time game revolutionised live casino play in 2020: Evolution's spectacular game show kneads a giant wheel of fortune, professional hosts and four separate bonus games into a single, continuously running live broadcast. It has become the most popular live casino game in the world.

At the centre of the Crazy Time slot stands the 54-segment giant wheel: you can bet on the number segments (1, 2, 5, 10) and the four bonuses – Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko, Crazy Time. Before every spin, the Top Slot draws a random multiplier that can send winnings soaring up to 25,000x.

Crazy Time can be played for real money at online casinos, in a live broadcast.

Theme and design

The Crazy Time studio is a mix of an amusement park and a TV quiz show: garish colours, flashing lights, rotating sets and a person-sized wheel of fortune, spun non-stop by charismatic hosts 24 hours a day. Each of the four bonus games has its own separate set – the Crazy Time bonus takes you straight into a virtual funfair hall. Fans say the atmosphere is unique: this isn't simple gambling but a real show that you're part of.

Gameplay and mechanics

Every round follows the same rhythm: during betting time you can wager on any of the eight segments, then the Top Slot's two reels draw a segment and a 2x–50x multiplier – if they match, that segment's payout is multiplied. The host then spins the wheel: if you bet on the winning segment, a number segment pays the multiplier written on it, while a bonus segment takes you into the bonus game, where the multipliers can grow many times over. Bets start from €0.10.

RTP and volatility

Crazy Time's RTP varies by bet type: 96.08% on the 1 segment, dropping to 94.41% on the bonus segments. Volatility is high – the bonus games are rare but can pay enormously.

Maximum win

In the bonus games the multiplier can grow up to 25,000x, but the actual payout is limited by a per-casino cap – typically around €500,000. The exact limit is set out in the game rules.

Crazy Time game rules

Crazy Time's rules are simpler than the spectacle suggests – after watching a few rounds, anyone can bet with confidence. A round goes like this:

• During betting time, place your bet on any of the eight segments: 1, 2, 5, 10, Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko or Crazy Time – even on several at once.
• Before every spin, the Top Slot draws a segment and a 2x–50x multiplier; on a match, that segment's payout is multiplied.
• The host spins the 54-segment wheel.
• If a number segment wins and you bet on it, your bet pays according to the segment's value (1x–10x), plus any Top Slot multiplier.
• If a bonus segment wins and you bet on it, you take part in the bonus game, and its result multiplies your bet.
• Winnings are credited instantly at the end of the round, and the next betting time begins.

Anyone who didn't bet on the winning bonus can still follow the bonus game as a spectator – that's part of the show too. The wheel is a certified, real physical device, and the broadcast runs without interruption.

Special features of Crazy Time

The soul of Crazy Time is its four bonus games: each is a standalone mini-show with its own rules and set, and combined with the Top Slot multipliers, this is where the game's legendary wins worth thousands of times the bet are born.

Coin Flip

The most frequent bonus: a coin with one red and one blue side flies into the air, with a pre-drawn multiplier attached to each side. Whichever side it lands on, every bettor receives that side's multiplier – quick, simple, yet thrilling.

Cash Hunt

A target board filled with 108 multipliers appears, covered by symbols. Every player fires at their own target – so in the same bonus round, everyone can win a different multiplier.

Pachinko

A puck dropped on a huge pachinko wall bounces between the pegs and lands in one of the bottom zones. The "Double" zones double all multipliers and the puck drops again – so the multipliers can grow beyond 10,000x.

Crazy Time bonus wheel

The eponymous main bonus takes you into a separate virtual hall where a gigantic, 64-segment wheel spins. Players choose a flag, and the "Double" and "Triple" segments can multiply all the wheel's multipliers – this is where the game's 25,000x peak can be reached.

How to play Crazy Time for real money

Crazy Time is a live game, so it requires a real-money account – but watching without betting is free, so it's worth tuning in as a spectator first. The steps:

1. Pick a reliable online casino from our toplist where Evolution's live games, including the Crazy Time casino show, are available.
2. Register, complete verification and activate the welcome bonus.
3. Deposit funds by bank card, e-wallet or another available method.
4. Open the live casino section and join the Crazy Time table.
5. Place your bets during betting time and follow the wheel and the bonuses live.
6. You can withdraw your winnings at any time in the casino's cashier menu.

Beginners should start with the number segments – they win more often, and the rest of the show can be enjoyed for free in the meantime.

Crazy Time demo mode

Crazy Time is a live game show, so a classic Crazy Time demo – a free, virtual-balance version – doesn't exist: the broadcast runs from a real studio with real bets. The good news is that after joining the table you can follow the rounds, the bonus games and the statistics without betting, as a spectator, without limit – the best way to learn the rules for free. If you want to practise, you can also try the wheel gameplay with smaller bets, from €0.10.

Crazy Time on mobile devices

Crazy Time runs from the browser on every modern iOS and Android device, without a separate Crazy Time app. Evolution's interface is tailored for mobile: the live video, the betting segments and the statistics appear on a single screen in a clear layout, and bets can be placed with a single tap. The show is also available in casinos' mobile apps, with the same account and balance – so the funfair is always in your pocket.

Crazy Time tips and strategies

Crazy Time's outcome is decided by the physical wheel and by chance – there is no winning system, but by distributing your bets smartly and keeping a disciplined budget you can get far more out of the show. Advice from experienced players:

• Watch a few rounds without betting first – free observation of Crazy Time is the best tuition.
• As a beginner, bet on the number segments: the 1 segment offers the highest RTP at 96.08%.
• Many players follow a mixed strategy: number segments for stability, a bonus segment or two for the chance of big multipliers.
• Don't chase the bonuses: the wheel's statistics don't predict the next round.
• Set a fixed budget and a time limit – the flow of the live show can drain a budget fast.
• After a big bonus win, step away from the table or withdraw part of your profit.

And most importantly: Crazy Time is above all entertainment – enjoying the show is free; just handle the bets wisely.
