Gates of Olympus 1000

Gates of Olympus 1000 overview – Zeus turbocharged

The Gates of Olympus 1000 game was released in early 2024, lifting one of Pragmatic Play's most popular slots of all time, Gates of Olympus, to a new level. Zeus has returned – and this time his lightning bolts can carry multipliers of up to 1,000x.

The Gates of Olympus 1000 slot kept the proven foundations: a 6×5 grid, scatter pays from 8 symbols, Tumble chain reactions and an accumulating multiplier in the free spins. The win ceiling, however, has grown from 5,000x to 15,000x your bet, and volatility has climbed further along with it.

Gates of Olympus 1000 is available at online casinos both for real money and in free demo mode.

Theme and design

The gates of Olympus open even more majestically this time: behind the marble columns and the golden gateway the sky is stormier, and Zeus's animations have become more elaborate – the arrival of the 1,000x multiplier orb is accompanied by its own lightning storm. The familiar crowns, chalices, rings and gems spin on the reels, and the orchestral score is more dramatic than ever. Fans say the atmosphere delivers exactly what the title promises: the same divine world, with bigger stakes.

Gameplay and mechanics

Gates of Olympus 1000 runs on 6 reels and 5 rows without paylines: at least 8 matching symbols anywhere on the grid award a payout, and the Tumble drops new symbols after every win. Zeus's multiplier orbs can land with values from 2x all the way to 1,000x; in a winning round, all visible multipliers are added together and multiply the total win. Four or more scatters trigger 15 free spins with an accumulating global multiplier. An Ante Bet is available, along with regular and Super Free Spins bonus buys.

RTP and volatility

Gates of Olympus 1000's default RTP is 96.5%, matching the original version's and better than the industry average. Operators may use lower settings, so always verify the exact figure on the game's info screen. Volatility is very high – the maximum on Pragmatic Play's scale – meaning the chance at the 1,000x orbs and the 15,000x ceiling comes at the price of long, quiet stretches. This edition speaks specifically to players seeking the greatest risk.

Jackpot – maximum win

Gates of Olympus 1000 is not a progressive jackpot slot: the win ceiling is 15,000x your bet – triple the original's 5,000x. Top payouts require the global multiplier accumulated during free spins and several high-value Zeus orbs, possibly worth 1,000x, to meet in a single round.

How to play the Gates of Olympus 1000 slot

Anyone who knows the original Gates of Olympus will feel at home instantly – but because of the wilder maths, spinning first in the free Gates of Olympus 1000 demo is a must. Real-money play works like this:

1. Pick a reliable online casino from our toplist where the Gates of Olympus 1000 casino game is available.
2. Register, verify your identity and activate the welcome bonus.
3. Deposit funds using a payment method convenient for you.
4. Open the game and set your bet between €0.20 and €240.
5. Spin, watch for Zeus orbs and scatters – four of them trigger the bonus.
6. You can withdraw your winnings at any time in the casino's cashier menu.

Because of the very high volatility, a low bet and a generous budget are recommended – the gods' favour sometimes takes a long wait.

Gates of Olympus 1000 symbols and payouts table

The paytable follows the original: 8–9, 10–11 or 12+ matching symbols pay increasingly bigger multipliers. The crown is the most valuable symbol, the blue gem the lowest. Values are expressed as multiples of your bet.

Special features of Gates of Olympus 1000

Every change in Gates of Olympus 1000 serves the win potential: stronger multiplier orbs, a higher ceiling and a premium bonus buy option. The features below set it apart from the original – and from every other slot.

Zeus multipliers up to 1,000x

The multiplier orbs can land with values between 2x and 1,000x on any spin. In a winning round, the values of all visible orbs are added together and multiply the total win – a single 1,000x orb can turn even the smallest payout into an enormous one.

Free spins with an accumulating multiplier

Four or more scatters award 15 free spins. The collected multipliers are added to a global counter that never resets until the end of the bonus – with the 1,000x orbs, this counter can climb to dizzying heights. Three more scatters are worth 5 extra spins.

Super Free Spins and Ante Bet

Alongside the regular bonus buy, the pricier Super Free Spins is available, starting the round with guaranteed higher multiplier values. The Ante Bet doubles the chance of the bonus for a 25% higher stake.

Gates of Olympus 1000 demo mode

The Gates of Olympus 1000 demo at the top of this page is available for free, with no registration or download. The demo runs on a virtual balance; the RTP, the multiplier values and the bonus mechanics exactly match the real-money version. It's worth comparing it with the original Gates of Olympus in the demo: that way you can decide from first-hand experience whether the higher ceiling is worth the bigger swings for you.

Gates of Olympus 1000 on mobile devices

Gates of Olympus 1000 is built on HTML5, so it runs from the browser on every modern iOS and Android device without a separate Gates of Olympus 1000 app. Zeus's animations and the lightning effects appear in full glory even on small screens, and the interface is comfortable in both portrait and landscape mode. The slot is also available in casinos' mobile apps, with the same account and balance as on desktop.

How to increase your chances in Gates of Olympus 1000 – tips for players

The outcome of Gates of Olympus 1000 is determined by a random number generator, and because of the extreme volatility, disciplined play matters more than ever. Advice from experienced players:

• Spin first in the free Gates of Olympus 1000 demo and gauge whether you can handle the swings.
• Set a strict budget and prepare for long, winless stretches.
• Choose a low bet – the 15,000x ceiling can mean a life-changing win even at small stakes.
• Check the RTP on the info panel and choose a casino offering the 96.5% version.
• The Super Free Spins is the highest-risk option – only worth trying with a generous budget.
• Take advantage of casino bonuses, but always read the wagering requirements.

And most importantly: Zeus is a fickle god – the game stays fun only if you never stake more than your entertainment budget allows.
